Dissease-resistant quince varietis

In the "Olmabehi" quince variety, mass ripening is observed in the third decade of September. This variety is resistant to bacterial blight, which severely affects quince orchards.

It is a high-yielding variety, producing up to 200 quintals per hectare even on low-fertility soils. Its yield potential is rated at 4.1–4.3 points. The fruit is large, round, and apple-shaped, turning light yellow when ripe, with a pleasant aroma. Fresh fruits contain a total sugar content of 17.5–18.3%. They are consumed fresh and used for juice production. Processing plants use them to make jams and juices.

The "Izobilnaya" variety, taken as a reference, also demonstrated resistance to diseases. The infection rate of branches and shoots by bacterial cancer was less than 10%, earning it a score of 1 point and confirming its resistance to this disease.
