One of the key factors in increasing the productivity of fruit orchards is the timely and effective implementation of protective measures against diseases and pests. In recent years, pests and diseases have caused significant damage to orchards.
In seed-bearing fruit orchards, pests such as "California and purple scale insects," "apple worm," "oriental fruit moth," "spider mites," and several types of aphids are widespread.
Based on this, in orchards and vineyards, depending on the level of care, spraying is carried out 2-3 times or up to 4-5 times as needed.
It is considered appropriate to conduct preventive pest control early in the spring, before the buds open, using ISO (sulfur-lime solution) or the Ovipron preparation against California and purple scale insects, pear aphids, weevils, and other pests.
